Figueroa Mountain Brewing Reveals Updated Packaging Inspired By Santa Barbara's Natural Beauty

by Rudy Sanchez on 04/07/2022 | 2 Minute Read

Founded in 2010 by the father and son team of Jim and Jaime Dietenhofer, Figueroa Mountain Brewing produces craft beer while paying homage to their Santa Barbara, California home. Over the years, they’ve grown to over 200 employees and four taprooms along the central coast.

And now, Figueroa has unveiled a new brand identity, building on that love for the beautiful California central coast.

Working once again with the talented folks at Blindtiger Design, Figueroa’s branding and packaging continue to feature the natural beauty of Santa Barbara county. Local landmarks such as Point Conception and Lizard’s Mouth feature prominently in the packaging, while labels find inspiration in classic fruit crates from central California and poppies, the state flower.

Typography sticks to the vintage agricultural look, and beautiful, hand-drawn illustrations create a striking shelf presence that radiates craft. The bright hues are reminiscent of that constant California sheen that seems to coat the more pristine and scenic parts of the Bear Republic.

Additionally, Figueroa is rolling out a new Hiker’s High Hazy IPA, inspired by the thirst worked up hiking up into foggy hills. The brewery is also following up on its popular Santa Barbara Citrus with additional shandy flavors that feature the updated branding.
