Becca Millstein, the founder of the tinned seafood brand Fishwife, has collaborated with Jing Gao, the owner of the Chinese condiment and dumpling company Fly by Jing. The two innovators will deliver a limited-edition product of smoked salmon infused with a spicy Sichuan chili crisp.
The product is created with uncensored flavors and marinated proudly with the first and only 100% all-natural Sichuan chili sauce, crafted in Chengdu. Yet, it's the packaging that truly makes a bold first impression.
Designed by Los Angeles-based illustrator Danny Miller, the smoked salmon with Sichuan chile crisp tins get packaged with a magnetic sense of originality. The black box gets adorned with illustrations that paint a picture of the tastes within—fresh chillis are growing, and fish are on fire with lightning bolts electrifying the flavors.
There's no doubt the tinned fish packs a mouthwatering punch based solely on the packaging design.
