When I hear "Carrot Dogs," my first thought is, "no, thank you." But Caserne's package design for the brand has me reevaluating my omnivorous identity. Carrot Dog's packaging reflects the nostalgia of a poolside backyard BBQ with easy eating and enough laughter to last the season. The bright color palette moves away from the cliche use of green and taps into precisely what makes the brand unique: the carrots. Plus, the quirky typography showcases the brand's flair for individuality and irreverence.

Carrot Dogs offer a solution to tasteless meat replacement sausages. Carrot Dogs is a tastier alternative to the classic hot dog. They offer a non processed, healthy vegan option to the way people eat hot dogs and promote a lifestyle centered around a plant-based diet. Making you and the planet healthier.

Their vision for Carrot Dogs is to offer a modern version of one of summer’s favourite BBQ foods. A new-age classic. After all, it is post-2020, there’s no more time for unhealthy junk food, it's time we have an alternative that is healthier, friendlier, and just-as-tastier. We developed a strong brand identity to brand their mission. We used a simple color palette with a playful custom font that look and feel delicious. Rather than sticking to typical healthy green visual cues, we took inspiration from the fast food categories which reflects in both the identity and packaging work.
