WildLove Bath Squirts was created in partnership with IFAW (International Foundation for Animal Welfare), a non-profit that rescues, rehabilitates and releases animals into secure landscapes, and The Whale Sanctuary Project (WSP), a non-profit that focuses on seaside sanctuaries for retired, rescued and rehabilitated orcas and beluga whales. When families purchase WildLove Bath Squirts, they support Munchkin’s donations to these organizations.
No other baby company has partnered with an animal welfare organization to infuse a cause in the product design and packaging. No other baby company designed a series of special packaging in any category to support a cause of any kind. No other baby company uses 100% recycled and recyclable materials in the bath category.
Each brightly colored bath squirt toy showcases a different at-risk animal. Munchkin’s LA-based Brand Design team created, wrote and illustrated all of the special packaging that is 100% recycled and recyclable. It also features a handwritten letter from the animals to the child and parents describing how these animals are at risk and why they need our help.
The packaging unfolds to a pop out panel showcasing different at risk animals. It also features a handwritten letter from the animals to the child and parents describing how these animals are at risk and why they need our help. It serves to entertain and educate our young consumers. It is a teaching opportunity for parents who love to share time like this with their children.
WildLove Bath Squirts are an extension of our initial success with our WildLove Cups which launched in 2019. The massive success with the Cups allowed us to expand the WildLove series into the Bath category. It supports our CSR pillar for Animal Welfare.
The WildLove line has generated has been a very profitable line in our retail stores such as Target, Wal-Mart and Amazon as well as Munchkin.com. The awareness around these causes has grown exponentially.
