Awesome Woman's Packaging Takes Inspiration From Images Found Under A Microscope

Dedicated to women's health, Awesome is a brand that takes a holistic approach to each respective woman. With packaging designed by Beetroot, the colorful graphics wander away from the cliche and instead blend a range of hues. Additionally, the oversized geometric patterns create an instantly recognizable system, loosely inspired by images of microbiomes under a microscope

Awesome woman is a new brand dedicated to women’s health, beauty, physical and mental well-being. With a scientific approach informed by a holistic philosophy and customized to the needs of each individual woman, at every age, awesome woman offers health and beauty care as a service, in the form of a selection of products, testing kits and supplements personalized according to every woman’s specific profile.

For the packaging design, we draw on the main values and design elements of the brand identity. The fingerprint is a representation of uniqueness, specialness and individuality. Its beautiful curves and whorls become the perfect “tools” for a visually rich communication system and a solid foundation for the entire brand story and identity. Combined with a strong and dynamic color palette, the scaled-up fingerprint whorls resemble images of the microbiome under a microscope.

The colorful, vibrant fingerprint graphics are used on external packaging: the boxes for bottles, jars, etc., as well as the box that contains each woman’s periodic delivery of selected products. In contrast, the product containers (bottles, jars, etc.) are rendered in single, block color, for a cleaner, more precise and refined look. The one-color approach to the bottles and jars also facilitates categorization by product type, and makes the products more easily distinguishable once they are on a bathroom shelf or vanity.
