Daysmith Coffee's Packaging Has True Purpose Instilled In The Design

by Chloe Gordon on 03/30/2022 | 2 Minute Read

Moxie Sozo's packaging design for Daysmith coffee began with the idea of infusing wellness and goodness within every day. The better-for-you coffees are packaged in cans with an encouraging spirit through the energizing color systems and iconography inspired by the coffee's purpose. The design is quite simple, but the detailed elements create cans with true meaning instilled.

Daysmith was founded with a simple mission: to transform wellness with everyday goodness. Its entire line of better-for-you canned coffees offers a great tasting caffeine kick along with targeted functional benefits thanks to vitamins and other plant- based nutrients. In other words, they’re a delicious way for everyone to build the day and life they want. The brand and packaging were built on that very promise, beginning with the name.

Daysmith puts function front and center, with an appropriately uplifting take on type and benefit-specific iconography that shows how every little choice we make—including the coffee we drink—adds up to make a big impact. That system doesn’t just make further SKU extension simple; it offers building blocks for the creation of a whole brand world, which translates seamlessly from the packaging to the website, social media, advertising and marketing, and more.
