The Future Set Is Minimal Yet Luxe

The design for ‘The Future Set’ evokes the unique, abnormal nature of the much-loved beauty brand, DECIEM. Minimal yet luxe. Iconic yet personal. It includes six products targeted to focus on long-term support of healthy-looking skin. Futuristic notions inform the design through the language of planning and building, with a grid paper motif, minimal palette and detailed 3D mesh forms of the products featured prominently. The aesthetic direction also draws from the DECIEM brand story through subtle design quirks such as the custom molded takeaway container itself - an homage to founder Brandon Truaxe.
The custom box, molded from 100% post-consumer paper and agricultural waste*, features an embossed logo and secure locking mechanism. To display and protect the six products, a die cut folded paper insert is housed within. Enclosing this is a printed label band which securely hugs the container through a tab locking mechanism, without the use of any adhesives. Printed on the reverse of the label band is product information and instructions in twelve European languages eliminating the need for additional printed inserts to sell the product across global markets.
