Acid is usually sold as small squares of paper with pictures, known as tabs or blotters. You might be wondering why this relates to packaging, but, interestingly, Malafama micro-brewery was interested in tapping into a play into the Spanish word for “sourness,” which to “ácido.” Gabinete Exquisito and Manuel Puig designed the limited edition double sour beer can to mimic the look of acid tabs on the double-sided and perforated label.
