The Red Tiger's Bold Yet Simple Beer Can Design

The combination of yellow and red makes a firey impact, and oui studio's design for the Vietnamese pub, The Red Tiger, beer packaging is just that. The yellow background paired with a delicate yet intricate typography design that states, "Cang Donc Cang Vu," translating to "The more, the merrier," is quite showstopping. The simplicity of the design paired with the bold colors creates a packaging design that sets this beer can apart.

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Vietnamese pub The Red Tiger, the studio had the chance to create the packaging design of a limited edition beer can in collaboration with the excellent Harricana brewery.

"Cang Donc Cang Vu" is the Vietnamese translation of the expression "The more the merrier". A good strong beer to drink in good company! Since 2015, Le Red Tiger stands out in the Montreal restaurant scene thanks to its dishes that honor Vietnamese culinary traditions.

The studio had the mandate to be consistent through the visual identity and to realize a project that was both simple and complex. A great mandate where collaboration and fun were the key to success!
