The color professionals Pantone have partnered with Paris-based artist Polygon1993 to give away nine NFTs inspired by Pantoneâs color of the year Very Peri on the Tezos blockchain.
On March 9, 2022, Pantone will drop the first five tokens on the Objkt marketplace at noon EST. The remaining four NFTs by Polygon1993 will be available exclusively at Tezosâ SXSW 2022 Block/Space experience between March 11-14th, on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, visitors to Block/Space can also immerse themselves in Pantoneâs color of the year and view the NFTs in the installationâs Very Peri room. Block/Space will also host Laurie Pressman, vice president of Pantone Color Institute, and Elley Cheng, general manager of Pantone, as they discuss color and the Metaverse.
