Bodega Run IPA is inspired by the incredible bounty and boundless warmth of our go-to neighborhood spots and corner stores. These convenient landmarks carry anything and everything you could possibly need, from a classic deli sandwich to the warm welcome of a beloved bodega cat, and frequently serve as a de facto community center for their nearby regulars. We created this packaging and the beer within to celebrate the bodegas close to our own hearts.
The Brooklyn Brewery Design Team created Bodega Run IPA’s packaging to embody the well-stocked puzzle-like shelves of iconic New York bodegas. Borrowing from the color palettes widely used for these storefronts’ signage and some of our favorite menu items, cats, and characters from our own corners, the team breathed life into Bodega Run’s cheerful geometric forms and pleasantly busy patterns. The lively design has already proven successful in its most important test: standing out in a packed fridge while we shop for last-minute essentials and well-earned treats.
