Groovy Butter's Packaging Is An Instant Mood Booster

With a name like "Groovy Butter," expectations for funky packaging are high. Designed by Rachel Weber, the brand's newest Matcha Nut Butter is marvelous in the grooviest way possible. The design is undoubtedly inspired by 60s psychedelia and 70s disco tropes, and the outcome is delightful enough to make you want to get up and boogie. Plus, the radiant gradient colors on the label make for an engaging label design.

Groovy Butter has launched Matcha Nut Butter, a caffeinated line extension with gorgeous new packaging. Product Description: Matcha Nut Butter is made with (all organic) matcha, cashew & hazelnut butter, green tea caffeine, L-theanine, and a touch of coconut sugar, and tastes like a matcha latte in a creamy, nutty scoop – just the right sweetness with a kiss of vanilla!

There is 70 mg of caffeine per serving (like an espresso shot) in this nut butter to lift your mood and energize you – without the jitters or crash. Unlike the original 2 Groovy Butter flavors, Matcha Nut Butter has no CBD, and instead harnesses the natural power of L-theanine to keep you calm and steadily energized throughout the day. Design Inspiration: The Groovy Butter creative direction for packaging and branding are heavily influenced by late ‘60s psychedelia meets early ‘70s disco, evoking icons like Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Donna Summer. The Groovy Butter logo is inspired by concert posters from the Woodstock and disco eras, and the packaging honors the vibrant color palettes of vinyl record album covers. The vision was to create a product as exciting to gift as it is to use, rooted in sustainability, that uplifts your mood.

Matcha Nut Butter's color palette specifically came from a vibrant thrifted Grateful Dead tie-dyed shirt – with the green evoking matcha complemented by beautiful purple and yellow tones. Photography Inspiration: In contrast to the 1970s "hippie nightclub" vibe in the photography style of Groovy Butter's CBD product launch, the inspiration for this Matcha Nut Butter photoshoot are the iconic 1970s conversation pits – using vibrant jewel toned colors, crystals, starburst lighting, and natural rainbows to evoke a lively mood and good vibes.
