EVERLAND recently worked with the Danish brewery Carlsberg to create a limited-edition series to celebrate the brewery's 175th anniversary. The special beer is infused with flavors such as yuzu, grape, and rose water, and the packaging reflects the delicate notes. The white label with a grey logo and stunning informational panel create a sophisticated and clean aesthetic, allowing the limited-edition beer to be portrayed in all its remarkable glory.

022 marks Carlsberg’s 175-year anniversary. The famous Danish brewery is releasing a limited edition series of beers to celebrate its achievements. Scandinavian consumer brand agency Everland helped tell the story and design a fitting label. Carlsberg’s thirst for progress has taken them from a local craft brewery in 1847’s Copenhagen to a global brewery with a state-of-the-art research laboratory. Such achievements require proper celebration. In 2022, Carlsberg will launch three limited-edition beers to showcase the brewing craftsmanship, knowledge and passion that the brewmasters at the research laboratory put into their work every day.

Brut Beer is the first launch, an innovative beer with flavours of yuzu, grape and rose water. Wheat Lager is a smooth and wine-ish beer brewed with all wheat malt and dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops. Finally, the Barrel Aged Lager is lagered in barrels from Danish Whiskey brand Stauning for 175 days to give it a refined, rich and peaty taste. A STORY FROM THE LABORATORY At the Carlsberg Research Laboratory, they tirelessly explore the taste possibilities in beer. Inspired by their laboratory, Scandinavian consumer brand agency Everland designed a fitting label for these special beers. “When designing the label, we visited the Carlsberg Research Laboratory. The brewmasters use notes and labels to keep track of their experiments. We drew inspiration from them and created a modular label design system, reflecting the Carlsberg heritage and spirit. And having it all engraved and embossed on the label adds to this beer's premium feel and exclusivity. Finally, it is signed by the responsible brewmaster, an elegant nod to Carlsberg’s founder and his craftsman spirit, " adds Jonathan Faust, Design Director at Everland. The three brews are limited-edition and only available in select markets.
