Making White Space Interesting With Bantam's Hard Seltzer Packaging
by Chloe Gordon on 11/11/2022 | 2 Minute Read
Seltzer packaging is known for its abundance of white space, yet Bantam's packaging feels slightly different from the norm. Designed by ALLGOOD, the brand's use of white space is balanced by an oversized, colorful logomark and a powerfully vertical logo. The design is minimalistic, but the nicely thought-out details take this packaging system from simple to stunning.
Bantam is a new range of ready-to-drink hard seltzers, developed by Copper Bottom Brewing based in Prince Edward Island, Canada. The vodka seltzers are an extension of their vast range of beers and ales which are sold throughout the province and their very own taproom. Crafted with quality all-natural ingredients, the locally produced drinks are designed to provide ‘Islanders’ with a low calorie, low carb choice when out drinking. Built around a striking ‘B’ icon, our brand is designed to be bold and minimal. Launching with three flavours, the design of the cans uses an eye-catching splash of colour for each SKU. We then twinned this with a super condensed font across all comms and advertising. Built for the health conscious consumer, Bantam is designed to be a light and refreshing drink ideal for low calorie and low carb diets. The launch has been a great success, with the drink making a splash across the island, including bus shelter adverts, liquor store windows, point of sale units, bar buckets, t-shirts, coasters and a whole range of digital assets.
