Kohler Co., a global leader in smart kitchen & bath products, and Harman Kardon, an industry leader in audio technology and innovation have partnered to launch the first-of-its-kind offering: the new KOHLER Moxie showerhead + wireless speaker with Amazon Alexa.
Following its celebrated preview at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show, the debut of Moxie has been highly anticipated by audio and bath enthusiasts alike. Available as a smart speaker with embedded Amazon Alexa, the Moxie showerhead brings a new audio and water experience to the showering space -- blending the sophistication and design excellence of Kohler’s bathroom collection with the highest quality sound experience via Harman Kardon. The showerhead features a full-coverage spray, while the portable speaker delivers specialized tuning for the unique acoustic dynamics of the bathroom.
Positioned as a smart home product for the showering space, this package was designed to work equally well in the smart home, home electronics or showering aisles of brick and mortar retail, as well as deliver a best in class unboxing experience for etail customers. Each panel of the package serves a specific purpose; from drawing a customer in with a product as hero treatment on the front, to delivering key features and positing on the sides, and using the back panel to highlight the experience and create an emotional hook. The result is a sophisticated design that evokes premium quality and the unique experience of the product, while reinforcing the ethos of the KOHLER brand.
The packaging was produced on luxury board with a matte soft touch stock and features a magnetic closure, and raised UV spot treatments on the water drops on the front panel and sound bars on the back and inside panels.
