Bud Light Seltzer Hard Soda Sure Is a Mouthful, But Now You Can Drink It

Published

The seltzer market is old news; in fact, it seems like almost every brand has a hard seltzer in their product lineup whether we like it or not. But, what the market has been missing is, apparently, a hard Seltzer Hard Soda, as brought to us by Bud Light.

The Seltzer Hard Soda is rumored to be similar to Bud Light’s Seltzer products, yet the big difference is the addition of the soda flavoring. It is important to note, though, that there’s zero sugar, which is featured front and center on the can.

And while the name “Bud Light Seltzer Hard Soda” is quite the mouthful, especially after tossing back a few cans, the design itself is well executed. Each flavor, ranging from Classic Cola and Cherry Cola to Orange Soda and Citrus Soda, maintains its distinct color palette, including a unique set of bubble-inspired illustrations at the top of the can and flavor inspired illustrations at the bottom.

The typography remains consistent across the product line, and it’s interesting to note that the “Hard Soda” lettering is on the white half of the can, allowing it to stand out more than the “Seltzer.”

So sure, the brand continued the trend of hard seltzer-inspired drinks having mostly white packaging. Still, the playful illustrations paired with the bold typography help differentiate this product from the rest of the market. Even as a person who dislikes hard seltzers, I have to say I would try one of these based on the packaging alone. Job well done, Bud Light Hard Seltzer Soda. The beverage is now available everywhere, so get your drink on.
