Rusak’s Line Puts Typography Front And Center

Published

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of watching a Casey Neistat video, you know what his handwriting looks like. Now, whether or not Casey Neistat inspired the typography for hair pomade Rusak remains an unanswered question, but the vibes are right, and the handwriting matches up.

Designed by Moscow-based Tanya Vino, Rusak’s branding is filled with a personality reminiscent of rock bands from the 90s infused with the gentle quirkiness of an underrated TikTok star. Each product is packaged in a different shaped bottle or tube with a range of color typography. And while there might be a few differences between the packaging designs, the established typeface stays tried and true on each, making for a line that’s both unified and unmistakable.
