Beauty Dose Fosters Inner and Outer Beauty

Physical, mental, and emotional wellness require constant maintenance. Many cultivate routines and regimes, diligently keeping fastidious schedules and activities in the name of feeling good and being good. Usually, products, supplements, or tasks are focused on enhancing a narrow aspect of one’s self. Branding and packaging, developed with the assistance of agency TRUFFL play on the outer and inner beauty connection with a blend of close-up photography of models, neutral color palettes, and positive messages and affirmations. Daily supplements get stored in individual sachets, and monthly supplies come in boxes that can also serve as POS displays.
Monthly packs transform like robots-in-disguise into calendars users can use to track their Beauty Dose regimen with stickers delivering positive messages like “I’m immersed in the beauty around me.”
“As a beauty product that you consume, Beauty Dose’s brand strategy was built on the idea of promoting beauty both inside and out. We believe that inner beauty isn’t fostered solely with improved skin but also requires inner work, including practicing gratitude, self-care, and balance,” said Raphael Farasat, CEO and creative director of TRUFFL.
“I personally place positive mantras on sticky notes around my desk and bathroom to spark positive reminders with this practice in mind. So we sought to incorporate this idea with a brand mantra card and set of stickers to incorporate mental health into their brand system with the same intentionality as we did within promoting the skincare benefits of their products.”
Once they established the concept of timed doses (i.e., daily, weekly, and monthly), TRUFFL saw an opportunity for packaging to encourage continued use, crucial to the efficacy of any wellness routine.
“With this system in mind, we knew that any supplement is only effective if consumers maintain the practice of consuming them regularly. So we brainstormed different ways to offer positive reinforcements for people to stick with their new skincare routine as part of an uplifting ritual that would become a natural habit,” Raphael said.
“We studied different resources like the book Atomic Habits to understand the easiest and most effective way to ingrain new habits," he added. "We found that leaving a reminder for yourself in a location you visit each day is a sure-fire way to build a new habit into your routine. So we devised a calendar system that could be placed on your refrigerator or next to your cabinet near your glassware to provide a gentle reminder to take your Beauty Dose and mark off your positive accomplishment with a sticker on a calendar.
Each month, a new set of stickers is released, and consumers receive a social media sharing opportunity to post about their completed #MonthOfBeauty.
