We’re all used to ice cream being packaged in a specific carton, you know the one, I’m sure of it. Sacred Serve, however, is serving us a plant-based gelato in a more sustainable carton style proving the brand’s promise to a more eco-friendly and eco-conscious future.
This new carton style is a unique combination of a take-out box top paired with a more traditional ice cream tub bottom, making it both more sustainable than other packaging options as well as more distinct.
This specific carton is made from 100% virgin-fiber, food-grade paperboard, with a food-safe, water-based barrier coating, 100% compostable in both home and industrial environments, and is 100% recyclable in any waste stream and 100% recyclable in soil. Additionally, the packaging is certified free of any dangerous or toxic materials, including PFAS (polyfluoroalkyl substances).
