The brand and design studio, Classmate Studio, is on a mission to create and transform brands to achieve their goals by developing progressive designs, strategies, and campaigns.
Recently, the branding studio worked with the independent Natural wine Milán Juhász to create their identity and a series of labels. Focusing on winemaking as an art form, it only made sense that the labels reflect this creativity. Each label reflects the taste profile of each wine within an unconventional oval design through unique and handpainted patterns. The result is a modern take on both packaging and winemaking, and the execution is impeccable.
Milán Juhász is an independent Natural wine maker located in the south of Hungary. We were approached by Milán to create an identity and series of labels for his recently founded winery. His natural wines are hand crafted by traditional & organic techniques. The visuality reflects this heritage with a hint of contemporary touch.
For Milán wine making is an art form, where technique and instinct pay equal importance. This inspired the use of hand painted patterns to represent the feel and taste profile of each wine. This is complemented by a fine organic title serif with details as delicate as grape tendrils. The label follows an unconventional oval shape creating a distinct and contemporary frame around the artworks.
