Student Week: Irrésistible Kombucha

Published

If you weren’t aware, Kombucha comes from Northeast China, was created around 220 B.C., and was initially cherished for its healing properties. Now, you can find fermented beverages everywhere, from your local farmer’s market to high-end grocery markets.

Thomas Jarny won first place in a student packaging contest held by Pigeon Brands Agency and the Metro Brand for his gorgeous Kombucha packaging design. The competition asked students to dress naked objects, and inspired by the origin of Kombucha; he cleverly took inspiration from garments of the region.

The result is a dynamic design suited for countless flavors and drinks, each label consisting of vibrant colors and a dynamic and consistent logo. There’s no denying that Thomas deserved first place in this competition.
