Abraham Lule’s packaging for Beneduce Vineyards’ Crafted Series was designed to showcase the techniques and craftsmanship behind the winery’s unique characteristics. The illustrations of classic Italian hand gestures featured on the labels bring a playful yet timeless feeling to the brand.
In fact, it’s such a timeless design that a 1958 print from Munari’s dictionary in La Domenica de Corriere (03), an Italian weekly newspaper, acted as the reference for each illustration emphasized on the labels. The beautifully handcrafted drawings perfectly balance the sleek and traditional design of the rest of the label, making for a comprehensive and hearty combination. The labels themselves were made from 15% group waste and 85% SC-certified pulp and sealed with a relaxed single tape, aligning with the brand’s sustainability program.
