If You're Going To Sellout Take Notes From Longwood Brewery

In 2018 there were ten hard seltzer brands, and today, well, today, there are too many to count.

Longwood Brewery decided to leap headfirst into the world of hard seltzers, but unlike other brands that have recently jumped in, they are self-aware.

With a name like "Sellout," it only makes sense that Hired Guns Creative would create can designs that pair well with their name that's both clever and informed. The can designs are vibrant, artistic, and somehow still have ominous undertones. A job well done, especially in an overcrowded market.

In 2021 Longwood Brewery decided to get into the hard seltzer game. As many craft breweries do, they opted to create a new brand from scratch. We suggested a gutsy name for the brand. It’s cheeky, shameless… brash.

The can designs needed to live up to the name, basic white cans with a slice of fruit weren’t going to cut it for a brand with such brazen positioning. Sellout carves out new visual territory: ancient bleached white marble statues transformed into something ridiculous and visually stimulating.
