Norse god of mischief Loki has long served as a foil to the god of thunder and heir to the Asgardian throne Thor and his allies in the Marvel world of heroes. Unlike most baddies portrayed in comic books and other media, however, Loki is an affable scoundrel, a trickster with a sense of humor saddled with grand aspirations to rule over Asgard and beyond.
Itâs little wonder Loki became a fan favorite despite his villainy and ego, and he’s the first Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) adversary to be featured in his own titular series, Loki, debuting today on Disney+. As part of the new showâs promotion, the Mouseâs digital streaming network has teamed up with General Mills to offer a limited-edition box of Lucky Charms called Loki Charms.
