Xamorfos' Packaging Is A Bottled Up Lucid Dream

Lettera7 designed the packaging for Xamorfos, the Italian gin whose goal is to take you on a journey. The packaging takes inspiration from a dream-like perception in a perfectly minimal way. The bottle's shape is almost medicinal, and the label on just the left half creates a sense of unexpectedness. This brand is a little rough around the edges in the most endearing possible way.
Xamorfos is an Italian gin that invites you to enjoy the pleasure in its purest form and to live a deep experience in your inner space. The Xamorfos experience is inspired from the lucid dream concept, an elegant exercise in style which tries to alter that stage situated between consciousness and dream-like perception. It is a journey that starts from a hidden place, on the border between reality and desire, and drives in a dimension where the confusion is order and iridescent sounds, padded lights and ecstatic visions envelop you. In that dark brightness, the matter doesn’t exist and the spirit is purified.
We have recollected the feelings which arise from that aery nook and we transform them into an intimate project, far from purely communicative goals. This combination of rationality and disorder was translated in a bottle that aims to stimulate tactile, visual and cognitive sensations. The fluidity of the gin recalls the lucid dream experience with his forms distorted from the movement of lights and his visions destabilizing and seductive at the same time. The label is supported by a system of rubber bands and can be removed from the bottle and framed. We designed it as an open project that could involve illustrators and artists invited to embrace the Xamorfos concepts and create periodically different artwork.
