Luxury Packaging With Diageo Prima & Ultima

GPA Luxury created the design for the rare Scottish whiskies for the Prima & Ultima series. The bottles come neatly tucked inside a beautiful luxury box that keeps them safe and looks as rich as they should be. The design is straightforward, but the touch of gold foil adds the perfect addition to the design that keeps it engaging.

In 2020 Diageo released their first offering in the Prima & Ultima series, a collection of exceptionally rare Scottish whiskies. Sourced from eight distilleries, including Lagavulin, Mortlach and Caol Ila, this collection comes housed in premium GPA Luxury packaging. The cases are comprised of an MDF base and door, connected with SOSS hinges which recess into the pack when closed. The exterior is wrapped in FSC-certified white paper embellished with gold flecks, and each pack boasts the distillery’s branding in foils and metal decals sealed with high-gloss lacquer. Inside, the bottle nestles in a fitment lined with faux-suede, colour-matched to the distillery’s branding.
