tbh. Skincare Is Flipping The Negative Connotations Of Acne

by Chloe Gordon on 06/14/2021 | 3 Minute Read

Just because acne makes you feel less than beautiful doesn't mean that it's true, nor does it mean that the packaging of the products intended to help has to be dull and lacking in confidence.

Tbh is a new line designed by Made Somewhere to boost young women's confidence through a skincare line with packaging filled with positive energy. The dual-orange tones are funky and fresh, and the sans-serif typography adds a sleek and minimalistic approach to the design system. No one wants acne, but I could potentially see everyone wanting to get their hands on tbh.

tbh. was created as a completely new and scientifically proven method for treating acne. Made Somewhere was engaged to develop the brand for tbh. and help launch it into the market, targeting a young female teenage demographic.

Made Somewhere created a positive and youthful brand that flipped the negative connotations of acne and instead focused on taking back control and feeling confident in one’s own skin. Playful and energetic colours, bold typography and ‘spot/bubble’ motifs were used to create this confidence and positive energy. The brand was brought to life on the core range of products, including the brand’s signature acne cream, cleansers, cosmetic boxes, shippers and water bottles.
