Begnis Catering, Design By Kanella, Rethinks Food Packaging One Loaf At A Time

Carbs are my downfall. I can chow down on a loaf of french bread, a dozen of croissants or challah turned french toast. It’s something I don’t even both changing because the doughy products bring me such an immense sense of joy. Begnis Catering, designed by Kanella, makes me believe that my biggest downfall might be my greatest strength as the packaging exudes a sense of absolute luxury. The packaging looks less like it’s for food and more like it’s for a jewelry brand. The foil logo combined with the pastel colors of beige, mint, and pink five off a unique and playful vibe. Begnis Catering is turning carb packaging into a statement, and I am here for it.

Begnis Catering hosts elite gastronomy events, with own patisserie and bakery. A family-owned business with a 35-year history in the catering, confectionery and bakery market, Begnis combines the traditional values of personalized care and attention to detail, with an innovative spirit towards taste. The new typography-based logo reflects this bond between customer service perfection and original gourmet experiences.

Focusing on the first letter of the name, the new logo consists of two mirroring arches which meet one another to represent an all-embracing approach to events of all sorts. Gold lettering defines the exclusivity and high-quality of services, while the capital fonts give shape to a prestigious signature. When it comes to Begnis Patisserie and Bakery, the colour palette is enriched with pastel hues of beige, mint and pink. The monogram logo has been repeated to create a unique and lively pattern, aimed for packaging and other adaptations. Exclusively for ice-cream packaging, the above colours were used in a bolder, playful combination.
