Good Light Sheds Light On The Nonbinary In The Beauty Industry

David Yi has developed the nonbinary beauty brand Good Light that is inspired and informed by the digital community Very Good Light. The ever-talented Brooklyn-based Center developed the branding and identity system that features the moth as the main symbol behind it all. The moth was chosen as the constant image as it represents both vulnerability and courage.
The packaging for this forward-thinking brand might be gender-neutral, but that doesn't mean it lacks color or style. In fact, the creatives behind the design infused both of these elements in an extraordinarily modern way.
?Welcome to Good Light. A new skincare brand all about finding your own light, inspiring and illuminating others. Good Light is beauty beyond the binary, for all spectrums, for all humans. Developed by David Yi and informed by the Very Good Lightcommunity, good light creates supernatural skincare and other-worldly products that are for all people regardless of gender identity or sexuality. No matter your identity or complexion, skin type or texture, you belong. Our branding and packaging system celebrates the story of the moth, the less beloved half brother of the butterfly, drawn towards light and a powerful symbol of vulnerability, determination and representation.
