Mythology inspires the packaging design for L.E. Tempo Siblings sparkling wine, designed by Andrea Castelletti. The snake found on the label is associated with the deity of the passage of time, Chronos. The story is that the snake gave birth to the cosmic egg, the universe’s treasure. The snake on the label is consciously wrapped around this cosmic egg that’s artfully been cut out from the label to create a gorgeous window into the wine. The gold foil on the label creates a luxurious sense that makes this sparkling wine feel absolutely divine. This packaging is elegant and full of mysterious characteristics.
L.E. TEMPO Siblings Edoardo and Letizia Cossignani from the Marche region (Italy) had an ambition: to create a metodo classico organic sparkling wine from native grape varieties. Together we have created a brand that embodies the spirit of the Cossignani family stemming from generations of wine lovers.
The brandâs name has two souls. One is tied to tradition. The siblingsâ initials form the French definite article as a tribute to the winemaking heritage of Champagne. The other, time, indicates the fundamental aspect of the production chain and is more conceptual (indeed, the classic method is a long, artisanal process). It also takes on a metaphorical and mythical value. The Cossignani consider time as an opportunity. Time is what allows them to create unique, one-of-a-kind products, to study and preserve the land they cultivate, and to remember and celebrate the familyâs legacy. Therefore, the name encapsulates the companyâs three cornerstones: the siblings, the classic method, and the most precious resource of all.
