Johnny Cupcakes Creates Pasta Shaped Like The Delicious Logo

When a brand has a distinctive logo that is universally recognized, it only makes sense that the logo gets turned into pasta. Johnny Cupcakes has done just that, and we can't seem to get over the ingenuity of it all. It's one thing to be the first T-shirt bakery, but it's a whole next-level idea to be the world's first t-shirt bakery to make pasta out of their logo. Not only is the design of the pasta phenomenal, but the packaging it comes in is perfectly artisanal.
Designed by Dale Mallot, nothing was left out with nods to old-school Italian eateries through the delicate font styles, black, yellow, and red color choices, and even a mustache embellished logo. Bon appétit, and then maybe chow down on a cupcake afterward. There's no such thing as too many carbs, and I stand by that.
What makes our Johnny Cupcakes pasta so special and delicious? Imagine a boutique style pasta factory in Italy – that's what this looks like. We collaborate with proud artisans who run a small business and care about locally-made products.
Our manufacturing process begins with the highest quality ingredients we can find, like 100% durum semolina wheat and all natural vegetable powders. Our pasta dough is carefully extruded through Italian-made bronze dies and dried slowly overnight in traditional Italian cart dryers.
This old world Italian approach creates a rough matte surface on the pasta and leaves it more porous so that pasta sauce clings to it beautifully like a baby tomato hugging its mom after its first day of school. Most large industrial pasta companies use cheaper Teflon dies that produce shiny, slippery, pasta which causes sauce to slide off and accumulate at the bottom of the bowl – fuck that.
