Crackers Romagna Piada Has Cracked The Cracker Packaging Code

by Chloe Gordon on 04/21/2021 | 2 Minute Read

The first cracker was invented in 1792, but that doesn't mean that packaging has to be stuck in the past. Cobra Studio has worked with Crackers di Romagna Piada to create packaging for two of their product lines: Classic and Bio. Each product is represented by either red or green typography that's flawlessly intentionally imperfect in sizing. The fact that the emphasis is on the letter "S" makes me think that you'll definitely want more than one salty treat. The hand-drawn illustrations add an authentic touch of homeyness, and the clear bag allows consumers to see exactly what they're purchasing. This brand is approachable and has packaging that makes you feel like you've just been gifted a treat from your favorite neighbors.

Restyling packaging Crackers di Romagna Piada. Romagna Piada wants to enhance one of the main symbolic products of Romagna, the “piadina romagnola”, through a creative process which, based on the unmistakable traditional characteristics of the product, generates innovative proposals and satisfies the new market trends.

Two product lines, Classic and Bio, red and green; Each taste is represented by a hand-drawn illustration like in old recipe notebooks. A porous ivory-colored paper so that to the touch it can evoke craftsmanship and tradition. A versatile and race typography with hand-drawn illustrations, underline that the simplicity of the ingredients is enough to feel strong emotions. A simple-shaped label positioned at the top of a transparent packaging to enhance its content. Shapes and colors that make you fall in love … with Romagna.
