Beer Soap Is Helping Clean Up The Mess That IS COVID

by Chloe Gordon on 04/01/2021 | 3 Minute Read

The Columbian beer brand discovered a certain magic in the hops found in beer. It is more than the kind of magic you feel with a beer in your hand while hanging out with your friends on a bright sunny day. It's the type of magic that is capable of helping to fight COVID-19.

After this discovery, Bavaria set out to help the most disadvantaged neighborhoods and collaborated with small soap makers. The soap they developed is based on their Poker beer, and we'd say this mission is a royal flush of creations. Not only is the process of pivoting your company to help those in need special, but their packaging is top tier as well. The font and color choice is impactful without being over the top. There are no frills about it, and that's how something on a mission to help others should be: simple, straightforward, and elegant.

?For years, Bavaria has been in the hands of Colombians through its beers. Being part of the progress, triumphs and celebrations of the whole country. That is why, in the most difficult moment of its history, it had to do something to help them.

Through a simple finding, we found that hops have disinfectant properties that can fight Covid-19. So, with the help of small local soap makers, we created a new formula to produce soaps based on our iconic Poker beer. We took these soaps to the most needy neighborhoods and with the help of informative pieces, we raised awareness and educated about the correct ways to wash hands to prevent the disease.
