Futurity Redefines Water Bottle Branding

Futurity elevated their new water bottle design (literally). Using crafty technique and meticulous measurements, Think Packaging created a tactile experience with movement that quite literally brings the Futurity water bottle up and towards you as you open its package.

By means of folding back and onto itself, the folds of the box create a new form when you open and close it just as easily. The sleek, monochromatic design makes the black water bottle all the more trendy and unique. The angled text is reflective of the geometry and engineering that went into each detail of the packaging design. The 100% plant-based bottle make for a reusable bottle, with which you are also given the option to return to refill with more refreshing, New Zealand sourced, premium alpine water.

Futurity approached us to conceptualize, design, and produce a very special activation package that would capture the attention of the recipient from its very first opening. Our key considerations were selecting materials that would not only be robust enough to withstand the rigors of travel but to stand the test of time, repeated use, exploration, and play… all alongside creating a ‘ow’ moment by putting their new, innovative water bottle on a pedestal.

We did this by creating a package that seems quite unassuming at first, but once opened, with smart cardboard engineering, precision, and balance effortlessly raises the water bottle up and into position. This evokes curiosity and draws you in, engaging with the product and the brand.
