Grummies' Branding Keeps It So Real They Added An 'R' To Gummies

More often than not, the healthiest plants and herbs for us can also be the most bitter to take. Even adults have a hard time eating superfoods that aren’t super tasty. Common plants such as ashwagandha, elderberries, and turmeric aren’t pleasant for some folks on their own, but many find therapeutic benefits from eating them in high doses. Similarly, apple cider vinegar straight up doesn’t go down like a spoonful of sugar.

Taking advantage of these superfoods while not saddling them with a bunch of high-fructose grossness, low-quality, and synthetic ingredients is the mission of brand Grummies, a line of superfood-loaded supplements that's vegan and certified organic. The name is inspired by the firm’s use of “real” ingredients in its “gummies,” inserting an “r” in the word.

Working with studio DayJob, the packaging for Grummies is friendly and playful. Colors are inspired by the superfood, and gummy-like blobs tie the packaging to what’s inside while also providing carved-out spaces for the informative copy. Better still, the wordmark gets executed in a casual typeface that rolls casually between the spaced-out gummies.

Grummies’ branding is playful, approachable, casual, and fun, all while communicating the supplement's quality and unique features from the competition, such as being vegan, organic, free of synthetic coloring, and GMO-free.
