Guacamole Isn’t Extra In Latest e.l.f. X Chipotle Joint

Mexican-inspired restaurant chain Chipotle is no stranger to fans dressing up like its food offerings. Devotees have been participating in the brand’s “boorito” event for the past 20 years, where before COVID, it involved folks showing up dressed as burritos for some free grub. Thanks to a collaboration with cosmetics brand e.l.f., lovers of free Chipotle can put away the aluminum foil to cop that burrito look AND free food.

The new collection features an eyeshadow palette, lip gloss set, sponge set, and makeup bag, all inspired by Chipotle’s menu. The quick-serve chain’s salsas, meats, beans, rice, and other toppings also get represented in the new makeup offering. Shades of greens, reds, yellows, and browns can get combined to recreate that succulent burrito bowl look.

“There is nothing tastier or prettier than the combination of burritos and makeup!” said Kory Marchisotto, Chief Marketing Officer, e.l.f. Beauty via press release. “We have long admired Chipotle, and we are thrilled to come together to do things that neither one of us has done before. We share the same renegade spirit and are both committed to bringing the best ingredients to our consumers at extraordinary prices.”

Anyone’s that’s capitulated to the temptation of guacamole while standing at the other side of that plexiglass is likely familiar with the phrase “guacamole’s extra, is that ok?” For those able to snag the e.l.f. x Chipotle collab, guac is included for once, as each purchase contains a code for free chips and guacamole.

E.l.f X Chiptole’s makeup collection is available now while supplies last.
