Fantasty treats really are straight out of a foodie’s fantasy. Cutting out the sugar content, while still maintaining delicious flavors, is Fantasty’s goal. But aiming to target a wide variety of consumers, they contracted PG Brand Reforming Company to up their branding game. Choosing to go with pastel colors and abstract art, they created a brand identity that would lure you in at first glance. One look at the flavors available, highlighted by quirky fonts and formatting, does exactly that.

PG Brand reformed the designs for Fantasty, a young Canadian trademark of keto and vegan products. Among the many are coconut milk-based hot chocolate, keto cake mixes, boosters, and protein shakes. The goal was to develop a packaging design for each keto product. We decided that keto foods are typically associated with an overload of information that does not incite emotions, but rather, overwhelms customers.

PG's idea was to develop a packaging design that would show that this product suits everyone, not just those on specific diets. To reflect the consumption situation, illustrations on the cake mixes and hot chocolate packages look more relaxed and homely, while the heroes on the protein packs play a variety of sports. The design is bright, emotional, and memorable, while distinguishing the product on the shelf.

Thanks to the personalized design, each consumer can see themselves reflected on the packages’ illustrations, which will therefore increase interest in the product. We also developed a website and mobile app design. The visual design strategy for the brand’s social networks was as bright and colorful as the packages.
