Sheese, the dairy-free cheese brand from Bute Island Foods, recently worked with The Space Creative for a major rebranding. And boy, did they deliver! This is the brand’s first major refresh since launching over thirty years ago. While there is a lot to be said about a company whose vegan cheese options are both expansive and delicious, among many are about the impressionable elements that make up the detail-oriented brand identity. Between the spunky color palette that differentiates each individual product, and the intricate cartoon sketches that line every inch of the labels, The Space Creative did not disappoint. Now long-time Sheese fans and newcomers alike can enjoy the flavors as much as the new look.
The bold and playful new packaging, which will roll out across Sheese’s extensive range, reflects the versatility of each product, encouraging dairy-free seekers to use Sheese to create delicious dairy-free cheese dishes.
Made in a vegan creamery on the Isle of Bute, a small and beautiful island nestling off Scotland’s West Coast, Sheese is really going places. With a long list of awards and listings in the major multiples, 2021 is set to be a big year for the brand with significant marketing support planned.
David Thomson, Creative Director at The Space Creative, notes the new design celebrates both the versatility and performance of Sheese. Where dairy-free cheese traditionally has a poor reputation with product delivery, Sheese has managed to crack the winning formula. In addition to having a delicious taste, their products melt and bubble just like any other cheese product. So it was important to communicate this quality assurance within the design itself. The result being a bold and playful look that injects some foodie fun in an ever-expanding category of the food industry.
