It's No Haterade, But Polar Seltzer Has All The Feels Covered This Valentine's Day

While most Valentine’s Day-themed packaging comes adorned with the usual tropes of hearts, cupid, flowers, and the colors red and pink, Polar Selzters gets that love is complicated sometimes. And that can mean different things for different people.
The New England bubly water provider has released a series of holiday-themed packaging that fall into two categories, love or hate. The black labels have copy such as “Not single. Just quarantining,” and “I keep my feelings bottled up.”
The red bottles incorporate messaging such as “thirst trap” and the classic “Be my Valentine.” Faces on the front include smiles, frowns, and puckered lips, as well as winks and furrowed eyebrows, all executed with a simple set of graphics, including the on-theme heart.
The Valentine’s Day labels were designed by agency Miloby Ideasystem, and 2021 isn’t the first time Polar Seltzers used the holiday as an occasion to create limited-edition love/hate bottles. Snap them up while you can-you only have a week until the Polar tap gets turned off for another year.
