You could easily describe artist Lisa Congdon’s work as overwhelmingly positive, and she seems to have a knack for bringing a moment of goodness to every day. Bright colors, soft lines, and smiling charismatic megafauna. Her book Art, Inc.: The Essential Guide for Building Your Career as an Artist has been a source of professional advice for many creatives stuck on the starting blocks of their artistic pursuits for profit.

Now, her latest endeavor brings her playful and vibrant art onto the kitchen and washroom counters.

method’s latest collaboration features Congdon’s work on two new refillable bottles, available now. Wild Dewberry’s design features eyes, plant leaves, and other Oregon-inspired elements. Soft Vanilla sports a blue-eyed tiger with a dove resting comfortably upon its head against a pink background, pairing strength and harmony. "Tigers are seen as fierce and frightening, so I placed a dove—a symbol of peace—on the tiger’s head," she said of the design.

“When method approached me with the idea of collaborating on a limited-edition collection, I was thrilled as a method fan and long-time user of their products,” Lisa Congdon said via press release. “By bringing my art to life on their bottles, together we are inspiring positivity.”
