GreenSupplies Gives A Whole New Meaning To Clean

Neutral tones and bold lines come together to create the simplistic brand identity for GreenSupplies, an organic cleaning supplies brand based in Mexico. Nacho Studio was contracted to design the label and cohesively incorporate the brand’s ethos to its image. Combining practicality and edge, the bottles’ look and feel suggests nothing but pure intention.
Born from the need to mitigate the current environmental impacts caused by day-to-day life, GreenSupplies redefines the what and how of the process. The goal is to challenge, improve and evaluate. In other words, we question the use of additives and packaging, we seek the incorporation of elements classified as waste in production chains, and we evaluate the use of production cycles. We believe that nothing is destroyed, everything is simply transformed.
We always provide you recyclable and returnable containers. Never plastic. Our goal is to incorporate 100% recyclable materials. We seek to extend the life cycle of each product. Why? Because 100ml of oil is needed to produce a single plastic bottle. Meanwhile, a plastic bottle takes more than 1,000 years to degrade and at the end of the day, only 7% of recycled plastic is used to make new bottles.
We started this project with a very clean logo, brand, and label design. It was important to keep the design a basic line and to make sure the structure would make it easy to identify each product. At this point, what is important is what is inside. The exterior can be pretty, but that isn't as relevant as the ingredients.
In the same way the bottles are returnable, the labels used are made with a special paper that allow us to clean the bottles without the need to replace each label every time. We started the project with transparent glass bottles; however, after further evaluation, we switched to an amber bottle. This helped to maintain the molecular stability of the ingredients of each product, since solar radiation can modify and directly affect the natural products.
As a natural product line, our communication naturally gears towards green and brown colors, always a reference to the ground it all comes from.
