Levain Bakery Cookies Shipment Boxes Are Sturdy Enough To Protect Your Cookies Yet Still Delicate Enough To Feel Special

If you've ever experienced the dream-like flavors from a Levain cookie, you know that the experience is undoubtedly not over-hyped. To help the brand share their cookies in cities beyond their brick and mortar locations, The Creative Pack worked with the delicious brand to create a packaging shipment design that would ensure the cookies could be delivered in all their glory yet still feel like a refined gift. The result is a box in Levain's signature blue hue packed with packs of four cookies complete with a hand-tied bow at the top. Additionally, the illustrations within the lid of the box add a personal touch. So if you're stumped on what to gift, well, anyone, this year, these cookies might be a perfect option.
It’s the best surprise on anyone’s doorstep! This eye-catching shipper printed in the Levain blue, is one any Levain cookie lover can recognize a mile away. Wrapped around with a ribbon, as if saying ‘this gift was carefully packed for you’. Upon opening, you’re greeted with a friendly message, ‘Sharing something truly delicious can change your day. And day by day, it can change the world. Baked with love in NYC.’, as well as the cookie lover’s parade illustration, a reference to the long lines at the bakeries.
Sold in stacks of four, the greatest design challenge was creating a structural system that was sturdy enough to support and protect the heavy product during shipment, but delicate enough to make it feel like a special gift. For cost effectiveness, a universal insert was designed to fit seamlessly inside the smallest box size, which could also be used for the medium and large boxes, as stack quantities increased. This streamlined the packing process, as Levain wanted to keep the hand-packed nature of their fulfillment process. The launch of the updated look came just months before the early days of the 2020 quarantine – allowing people to easily share a little sweetness and joy with friends and family during what came to be an extraordinarily difficult year.
