The typography found on the bottles of Musa Chai is, well, stunning, to say the least. The bold serif fonts with quirks inspired from the 60s and 70s are in and here to stay, and when combined with soft peach and more vibrant pink, the personality of this beverage screams Elle Woods via Harvard application video, tell me I’m wrong. Waking up with a chai in this packaging will instantly put you in a cheery mood only pink could accomplish; in fact, simply scrolling through the images of the packaging has shifted my mindset into a more positive place.
Musa Chai is a masala chai liquid concentrate, brewed in small batches with all-natural ingredients in Bogotá. Musa Spice is our zero waste spice dust made by repurposing organic residue from the production process of the concentrate. We emphasize sustainable packaging by using glass bottles which can de reused and recycled. And in the case of our spices we’ve developed a new sustainable packaging in a paper tube shaker top that is layered with PLA on the inside and therefore biodegradable. The graphic design has a custom typeface (as seen on our logo) in stencil style which calls for color block in the design.
