Stefano Faita is jumping from their restaurant location in Montreal into your home. The designs for this line of sauces features eight different offerings and an array of frozen pizzas. Each piece of packaging features a cheeky illustration of owner Stefano grinning ear-to-ear with a polygon label.

Stefano Faita and Michele Forgione decided to launch a brand of Italian grocery products with the same passion for fresh and simple food that you feel when you walk into one of their four restaurants in Montreal. The eight canned sauces and four frozen pizzas feature an eye-catching graphic design that breaks from the usual codes of their respective categories.

The concept’s originality produced a real, appealing identity and packaging that leaps out. The packaging stands out using a unique typographic set and colour for each product, to simplify shelf selection. The graphic layout of the labels and boxes was developed around a polygon representing the geographic limits of Montreal’s Little Italy and around a refreshing and eclectic typographic treatment.
