Glass Canned Wine Makes Drinking From Cans All Fancy-Like

If you grew up in a house of fancy drunks, wines and cocktails might have come in the finest of cut crystal glasses. Shiny goblets and flutes filled with libations were a signal of good times—or supreme darkness—ahead.
Elegance aside, canned wine has some distinct advantages. A dropped can isn’t a costly mistake, and they're much more convenient to bring to a picnic in the park than fancy glasses and a bottle. Aluminum is also more durable and keeps wine fresh and safe.
Glass takes the utility of canned wine and tries to recreate the mood of drinking a buttery chardonnay or a dank merlot in fancy glasses. The labels are white with minimal copy and feature elegant glasses filled to the brim with vino. Barcelona-based studio Puigdemont Roca designed the packaging and photography by the father-and-son team of Xavi Pairot y Marc Pairot features heavily. The cans maintain much of the effect that fine crystal glass has on wine in-person and makes for a pleasant piece of meta packaging.
Overall, the branding highlights and celebrates the joy of wine and fancy-ass drinkware, even if the occasion calls for a more casual receptacle, a reminder that sometimes it’s more about the who and when and less about ceremony and formalities.
