What is Monday Muse?
Skin-friendly. Vegan. Cruelty-free. We make skincare for delicate and reactive skin where each ingredient has been purposefully chosen to ensure the lowest risk of irritation but also the highest efficacy to the skin.
Our goal is to change the way people feel about their skin, and we wanted our packaging to reflect the brand’s fundamental reason for being. Monday Muse was born after years of struggling with skin conditions like acne, eczema, perioral dermatitis and is created for those with delicate and compromised skin, not only to improve their skin health but also improve their confidence, as skin problems directly affect our mental health.

Because of this, we want to help navigate consumers through the noise so they can choose thoughtfully and that’s why we keep things minimal, but meaningful, creating multi-purpose products with intentional ingredients you can rely on.
This also is shown in the specific bottle design. It is aimed to tell the customer instantly what the product is (vitamin facial oil), what it is designed to do (nourish, balance, calm), and which key ingredients are included (Kalahari Melon, Red Raspberry, Black Cumin). It is straightforward yet elegant and informs the fast-paced customers of today.
Sophisticated & High Quality
In addition, we believe that skin is skin, regardless of gender or age, which is why the packaging is modern and non-gender specific. It is inclusive from a design perspective but also from a formulation perspective: because we are so careful about skin reactions and irritations we made sure our product is suitable for the most sensitive skin.
The packaging had to reflect a sense of sophistication and modern luxury: the elegant black/white glass packaging not only preserves and protects the formula, but the glass material is also friendlier to our planet. In addition, we want to make sure your skin gets the best of the best and pride ourselves on our custom formulations. We carefully inspect each ingredient before anything to our formulas, making sure we source the highest quality ethically and with integrity.
Lastly, as a DTC-brand we wanted to offer multiple sizes, which is why we have the full size 30 ml in matt black and the 15 ml in matt white with a more simplistic description as the surface of the bottle is smaller.
