Working with the goal of transitioning from liquid dish to powder presented us with a unique opportunity to design a vessel that could meet stringent environmental requirements while also allowing for a familiar experience for consumers who are used to traditional liquid soaps.

By creating a reusable and sustainable bottle for household cleaning products—items traditionally sold in single-use, disposable plastic bottles—we are helping to eliminate over 100 billion single-use plastic bottles in the US alone.

The Blueland Dish Soap Shaker is made from silicone which is reminiscent of the common blowmolded PET dish soap bottles but robust enough to be dropped, crushed—as this is written, crushed implies the bottle actually gets crushed—washed, and refilled without breaking down.
