Socially Distanced Pals Reminds Us That Sometimes It's Cool To Be Alone

Quarantine has been extremely difficult for everyone, but Socially Distanced Pals is a gorgeous reminder that sometimes the best moments come from self-reflection and tuning out the noise of others. The effective and straight-forward design of Socially Distanced Pals is immediately visually interesting. Each flavor has a unique illustration that features human figures spending time by themselves. The illustrations are neither happy, nor sad, yet evoke a feeling of kinship when a consumer looks at them. It's a pleasant reminder that we're all in this together, even if we need to be apart. The copy is light-hearted and fun, bringing another dimension that translates well across all assets. 


Socially Distanced Pals (Spring 2020) is a campaign I made to encourage people to be considerate and thoughtful during these trying times. The campaign features personalized products for each pal to enjoy alone, while they socially distance themselves. I wanted to call attention to the importance of social distancing, but I wanted to do it in a fun and approachable way (a call to action but a nice break from the scary news). I used muted, pastel tones to make sure that they didn't take away from the illustrations and the message behind the campaign.
