A concept for Gillette shaving products. Gillette will create a gender neutral sub brand, that will feature basic shaving essentials designed for people of all gender identities. It will be a redesign of Gillette and Gillette Venus products, implementing a more modern and neutral design suitable for all. The sub brand will be called FOR ALL by Gillette.
The products of this sub brand will take a step away from traditional packaging methods of shaving products, as through current market research, it was discovered that an excessive amount of plastic was being used throughout shaving products. Instead, packaging will be fulfilled through the use materials such as molded fiber, SULAPAC®, and aluminum.
As for this conceptual project, products of this sub brand will include the following. A Shaving Kit featuring a razor handle, and two 5-blade cartridge refills packaged in a molded fiber carton. A strip of four 5-blade razor cartridges, where the user can tear off each molded fiber compartment as needed. A shaving cream and shaving gel that both come in an aluminum tube with a SULAPAC® cap. And lastly, a twist-dispensing after-shave balm made with SULAPAC®. All print on packaging will be printed with Algae Ink, which is an environmentally safe and sustainable option.
