We’ve all been doing it. Even those of us that don’t drink that much but during this pandemic we’ve all been making our own cocktails. Trying to remember a life where we could simply ask for a special drink. Vervet is a cocktail in a can that stands apart with its natural ingredients and beautiful branding.

Vervet came from our passion for cocktails, Los Angeles, and California farms. This town is health conscious and loves the outdoors, but it also has great taste. Californians have access to an embarrassment of riches when it comes to fresh produce, and the west coast cocktail tradition makes full use of this. We wanted to make a portable alternative to canned beer and wine in this tradition, made by hand from the source materials – not a spiked seltzer or simple highball. Angelenos are a diverse bunch; we wanted to reflect this wealth of cultures in our recipes.

What Makes Vervet Different? Simply put: we make these ourselves. Our original recipes
are produced in small batches in Ventura, California. We
make the bitters. We make the vermouth. We make the
amaro. We use small batch, craft spirits. We brew tea. We
zest oranges. Unlike most canned cocktails & hard seltzers
(which use artificial “natural flavors”, refined sugar, and corn
syrup) all the flavors in our drinks come direct from farms,
not from a lab, and are without chemical manipulation — so
you can taste, see, and smell the truth in every sip.
